Chan B. Reader was born on August 6, 1963, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Idaho State University in 1985 and his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1988. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in California and is a member of the Los Angeles County and American Bar Associations.
