Margaret A. Klug was born in Glendale, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in English from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, in 1980, and her Juris Doctor Degree in 1984 from Loyola University School of Law, in Los Angeles, CA.
