Karen M. Brockenbrow was born in Downey, California. She attended the University of California at Riverside where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1992. In 1998, she received her juris doctorate from the University of West Los Angeles where she was a recipient of American Jurisprudence Awards in Criminal Procedure and Legal Research. Ms. Brockenbrow is admitted to all California state and federal courts and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
